Happy New Year's Eve day - 2011 is fading 12/31/2011
5 College Bowl Games today - that is automatic good times for me & my viewing pleasure. Update on DTC football pool - still tied for 2nd place along with 6 others. Expecting great results today after this huge day of gridiron action. Kellie is making a late breakfast (11:30am) - no worries because it is no pressure day. Kort is asleep in her room, I love it when my buddy is home. The smells of breaking cooking in the kitchen takes me back to my childhood when my Mom would make breakfast every morning for all of us that wanted to eat. There is just something about breakfast, it's the power meal of the deal that gets you going. Ok - that was a great breakfast once again made by Kellie. Two eggs, two biscuits, ham & grits with red-eye gravy. After being married for almost 30 years, it's the first time remembered having red-eye gravy. I am now a red-eye gravy fan. Looking out the glass front entrance door it is a picture day for Dec. 31 - currently 61 degrees. I should be outside somewhere doing some camera hunting (taking pictures). I am going to detail Kortni's car today in between watching the College bowl games. It's fun to me to detail & clean our vehicles. A clean car will give you a good feeling as you cruise around in your ride. Following up - I found my one year daily Bible reading plan on - www.YouVersion.com . I am going to do the - M'Cheyne One Year Reading Plan - www.youversion.com/reading-plans/mcheyne-one-year-reading-plan . Here is the description - This plan is based on the M’Cheyne reading system, featuring four different readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day has two passages from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. In one year, you read the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice. Excited about the decision I have made to purpose to read God's Word every day beginning on 1/01/12. You keep the Word in your heart and good things will always happen. There's life in the Word as you read and the Holy Spirit reveals himself to you and speaks truth to your heart.
